Bailey the golden boy

  Grandma found this awesome dog treat recipe . Bailey loves them and when he runs out and has to eat the normal kind he turns his nose up. I tried one and they almost tasted like a protein bar! I hope you enjoy this yummy, easy recipe:) Peanut Butter and Applesauce Dog Cookies Ingredients 3 cups flour 2 cups oatmeal 1 cup peanut butter (no toxic  xylitol ) 1 cup unsweetened applesauce 1 teaspoon baking powder ¼ cup olive oil Directions Heat your oven to 350 F. In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except olive oil. Add as much olive oil as needed to create a dough that holds its shape. Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to ¼-inch thick. Using a cookie cutter, cut the dough into shapes and place them on a nonstick cookie sheet. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.

           Wow!! It has been a long time since I have written... First off,  Sam  and Boston no longer live with us, but Bailey has playdates a lot. Bailey has been having lots of fun with his Jolly Ball .                         I don't know why, but Bailey seems to love his kennel!                                                                   Awhile ago, we gave Bailey some of my dads shirts. When we gave them to him he was very happy. It is strange because he plays with them like they are normal toys, but he is so careful with the shirts. He won't let anyone steal them. If I were to pick them up he would want them back. I think he can smell dad in them. He cuddles with them a lot, I go...

Christmas, houses, friends.             I have a lot to catch up on, I hope all of you had a good holiday, and I think bailey had a good Christmas too. This year we had three doggy stockings to fill. Sam, Boston, and Bailey all had fun being with there new treats, and toys. We picked out a bag of treats for each dog to share. Bailey got a new blanket for his kennel and some toys. Sam got a new bed.      My grandma, and papa just built a house down the road from where we live. Sam and Boston are no longer staying with Bailey, he his very sad that he will not have his friends anymore, but I'm pretty sure they will have many playdates! Sam and Boston love there new house, I think Boston's favorite part is the couch!        My mom and I went to Away with Clay this summer, and my mom decided to paint my grandparents a new treat jar for there new home. I think it looks great!     ...

Sams Surgery,    Sam is my grandparents dog. He is very sweet, and he is a big black lab.      He had a surgery, because he had ruptured his knee. That means he was not playing very hard, and then he did and it was too quick of a change. Even though he can't play hard in the time he is healing, he will not be in pain afterwards! He has to wear the "cone of shame!"

New dogs, new fun!    Recently my grandparents moved down here. They will be living with us for about five months. But........ They have two dogs! There names are Sam and Boston.    Bailey has been very happy to have some buddies. When one dog wakes up, the others do too. They play, and sleep, and play, and sleep! Bailey, Boston, and Sam have been great together!

Bailey get a bath...Finally!!! Since it was spring, there has been a lot of rain. And in the spring the rain makes mud! Not surprising, Bailey played in the mud and got all muddy. Bailey had lots of fun, but he was stinky!!    We decided to give Bailey a bath. Not a bath that you go out and have your dog groomed, he was in our bath tub!     Bailey probably thought it was better than pet smart, because he got spoiled with treats!!!
